Undoubtedly agriculture is living a digital revolution where real time data helps farmers to improve their performance in both economical and environmental aspects. One of the sources of (near) real time data is coming from drones as a platform for imaging sensors. With drones, agriculture can finally capitalize on 40 years of Remote Sensing science, technology and applications, as drones provide a flexible and affordable alternative to satellites. This panel took place on Friday 21 April in World Form The Hague, The Netherlands, as part of TUSExpo.
