This year’s edition focuses on the latest trends, innovations and issues in the application of spatial data in agriculture. Following a series of successful conferences, the 6th edition will again provide a milestone in the debate on what geospatial techniques, data and businesses prove relevant for agriculture. CAPIGI GeoAgri addresses both the farm and the regional (administrative) level and provides crossovers with other geospatial applications.

What’s new?
This year, CAPIGI GeoAgri is a joint event of CAPIGI and the Geospatial World Forum. This means that you can visit both CAPIGI GeoAgri as the Geospatial World Forum (GWF). It is two-for-the-price-of-one. This collaboration provides the participants the opportunity to be part of the whole GWF, while still maintaining its particular focus on agriculture. The Geospatial World Forum starts one day earlier than CAPIGI GeoAgri, from the 23rd – 26th of May 2016 at the same location as CAPIGI GeoAgri. Furthermore, get inspired by the newest innovations at the CAPIGI GeoAgri exhibition area: the AGRIZONE. This dedicated agricultural exhibition area is positioned within the Geospatial World Forum exhibition.
Pecha Kucha
During some sessions, CAPIGI GeoAgri 2016 will apply the Pecha Kucha principle during the conference: 20 PowerPoint slides, each slide 20 seconds (so a presentation takes 6 minutes and 40 seconds).
